Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, 22, is a target for Bayern Munich if they are to sign another attacker this summer.

German outlet reported on Friday that Bayern Munich are considering joining the race to sign Athletic Bilbao’s Spain international forward Nico Williams, who has a €60 million release clause this summer.
Nico was link with a move to Barcelona สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน last summer before the player decide to stay at Athletic Bilbao, but despite the 22-year-old having enjoyed a quiet season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 36 appearances in all competitions, he remains a target for a number of clubs.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly keeping a close eye on Nico’s situation, with the German outlet reporting that Bayern Munich are also considering a move for the 22-year-old, albeit one that would require him to pay his €60m release clause.
Bayern Munich are likely to offload Leroy Sane, whose contract is due to expire this summer, while Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Brian Zaragoza could also be sold to fund a deal for Nico.
However, the financial demands the Gunners would have to meet to make a move happen prevented them from pursuing a deal.
The 22-year-old winger has a release clause of around €60 million, and while Arsenal could be willing to activate it in the summer, they will face fierce rivalry from other European bigwigs for his services.
Williams ended last season with eight goals and 16 assists and has weighed in with nine goals and seven assists in 36 appearances so far in 2024-25.
He is capable of playing through the middle as a number 9 and on both wings. And the Gunners could do with such a player as they look to bolster their attack ahead of next season.
